When attention to detail and experience matter, clients are glad to know Keith Burck is at the helm to help steer their investments in the best direction. Keith’s 30 years of experience includes substantial time spent in financial services, having held positions as an insurance executive and investment consultant before joining Alerus Securities.
As Alerus continues to grow and evolve beyond the realm of banking-related products and services, Keith’s entrepreneurism and expertise with stocks, bonds and professional money management are enhancing our capabilities as a single-source financial resource center for people with a wide variety of financial needs. Keith also serves as an Insurance Specialist for Alerus Financial.
Following graduation from UND in 1977, Keith joined Western State Life Insurance at the company’s home office in Fargo. While there, his performance helped him move quickly up the corporate ladder into top-tier management. The company’s consistent growth and success in the insurance industry led to the purchase by The Mutual Group, the largest organization of its type in Canada.
Keith joined the investment firm of E.F. Hutton, which became Smith Barney in ’86, and remained with that organization until joining Alerus in 1994. Keith has earned the CLU and ChFC professional designations from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and, in 1989, was awarded his Certified Financial Planner (CFP ® ) license through the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Keith has served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, a national organization of credentialed professionals, as well as numerous local organizations.
He and his wife, Cindy, reside in Fargo and have three children.
